New Staff member appointment 11/18/09:

Tom Petry and Greg Hopf are pleased to announce the appointment of Robin Egbert as a new Pro-Staff member of the DTOR team.

Robin brings a great deal to the team. Her dedication and commitment are outstanding. She is a female huntress who has twenty-nine white tail deer to her credit, along with several nice long beards.

Robin is committed to capturing her hunts on video and owns a GL-1. This week after some 63 sits since the opener in September she took a very nice 8pt. buck on film with her 13 year old son Matt serving as her cameraman. While this was not Robin’s first buck, it was her first with the bow. Over the course of the season so far Robin has taken five does and passed up lots of smaller bucks, all on video. She was not willing to settle for a smaller buck and continued to go out day after day seeking a mature deer. Her persistence was rewarded with a very nice New Jersey 8pt. Now She has already offered to be the camera woman for any other members of the team who have not taken a buck as of yet and has in fact been doing that this week already. A team player, safe and ethical hunter, she is just the kind of person that we are always looking for to join our team

It is clear that Robin serves as a great example to other females who have a desire to join in a sport that is normally thought to be for men. We look forward to Robin’s continued efforts to make DTOR an outstanding outdoor video production company.

September 9, 2009: Staff members are turning in some excellent trail cam photos of target bucks for this upcoming early season!! Check out the photo gallery for an update. Please use our roster sheet to contact one another if you are on a good buck and need a cameraman or if you have nothing going on, send an email out letting members know that you are available to film. Remember that this is a TEAM and if we all pitch in behind the camera, we will all be successful!! ROLL FOOTAGE..WHITE BALANCE...MANUAL FOCUS....!!!

August 27, 2009: Staff members are gearing up for the season with Pro Staffers Jason Kalafut & Dennis Duncan and Field Staff Chris Lisewski all purchasing new cameras. More Canon Gl2's and XHA1's in the woods for DTOR!!!
