Chris Hopf

I am married to my wonderful wife Kristy and we have three beautiful children. Hailey, Chris Jr. & McCartney. We reside in Middlesex County in the central part of New Jersey.

I am a career Police Officer and a military veteran having served in the Persian Gulf in the 1990's. I'm also a Hunter Education Instructor for the state of New Jersey. In addition, I have developed and maintained a very successful deer management program for the Borough in which I work that has been used as a model program for other municipalities since it's inception in 2006.

Hunting has become a passion and I spend countless hours in the woods scouting, hunting and shooting video. Since taking that first deer back in 89', I have harvested over one hundred whitetails. The vast majority of them have been shot with my bow. While I also hunt with the shotgun and muzzleloader, bow hunting is the ultimate for me. The intimacy and challenge of it are what really draws me in year after year. I also enjoy turkey hunting, small game action and as previously mentioned all types of fishing.

Over the years I have gained a wealth of information from my father who has helped me to hone my hunting skills and has also introduced me to utilizing videography for my hunting experiences. I have traveled all over the country with him filming hunts from both behind and in front of the camera in places such as Illinois, Wisconsin & Wyoming just to name a few. I was a Pro-Staff member and cameraman or hunter on many of my Dad's national hunting shows called “Greg Hopf’s Deer Quest Outdoor Adventures” that appeared on the Sportsman Channel for three and a half years. While filming our hunts, I gained a certain appreciate and enjoyment for capturing the moment and making memories that last forever.

Since my father has partnered with Tom Petry to form Drop Tine Outdoors Realities, I am once again looking forward to working with him, Tom, and a great bunch of Outdoor Professionals to create what I am sure will be a premier video production company. All the while making more wonderful memories that only the Outdoors can produce!
